Firms providing management analysis range in size from a single practitioner to large international organizations employing thousands of consultants. Some analysts and consultants specialize in a specific industry, such as health care or innovative technology. Others provide basic work environment interpretations
Management analysts may conduct organizational studies and evaluations including design procedures, work conduct and may prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist Personnel. Some analysts may gather and organize information on company problems and provide solutions to fix them. A regular practice is to document all findings of the study and record the recommendations for potential implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
Management analysts also help companies take on new projects. They are the problem finders and solvers. As analysts develops recommendations s/he takes into account the organization's employees, it's relationship to other organizations in the industry, and it's nature.
