New Year's Resolutions.

After an abundant of online research, I've gathered some of the most popular New Year's resolutions.

Go Back To School»» The new year is a great time to restart your career and get back to school. January is one of the best times to sign up for classes at a college, take online classes, or get your GED.

More Time with Family & Friends»»
Polls and studies says that more than 50% of Americans vow to appreciate loved ones and spend more time with family and friends this year.

Studies show that it reduces the risk of some cancers, increases longevity, helps achieve and maintain weight loss. Did you know that regular exercise has been associated with more health benefits than anything else known to man? Why haven't we heard of this sooner... I would have totally given up chocolate if I would have known that. ;)

Lose Weight»»
55% of adults in America are overweight. Setting reasonable goals and staying focused are the two most important factors in sticking with a weight loss program.

Quit Smoking
There are more than 4,000 chemicals in cigarette smoke, including 43 known cancer causing (carcinogenic) compounds and 400 other toxins. Some of these smoking hazards are also in wood varnish, the insect poison DDT, arsenic, nail polish remover, and rat poison.

Even if you've tried to quit before and failed, don't let it get you down. On average, smokers try about four times before they quit for good. Fresh Starts claims they have the product that will help you quit smoking in 1 hour. That's right... 60 minutes not 60 days.

Whether you register for a degree or take a single course, you'll find education to be one of the easiest, most rewarding New Year's resolutions to keep. Don't let nay sayers prevent you from pursuing what you really want.»»

Get Out of Debt»»
Was money a big source of stress in your life last year? Find ways to save money»» and cut out the items you can live without. It's a promise to yourself that will repay itself many times over in the years ahead.

Help Others»»
A popular, non-selfish New Year's resolution, volunteerism can take many forms. Whether you choose to spend time helping out at your local library, mentoring a child, or helping out at community events, nonprofit volunteer organizations can always use your help. Also see Fundraising Management »»

Get Organized
On almost every New Year resolution top ten list, organization makes the list and can be a very reasonable goal.
