The Career Opportunities Article

Never absorb yourself in the habits of negative people. I tend to give people several chances and will try to talk to the person and find out why something negative was said or done. In that aspect I'm a typical Libra, I question everything and want to understand. Nevertheless, there are times when sense can not be made out of a person's actions. In the past three months, I have discontinued specific friendships and acquaintances due to they're reliable flood of negativity. All of us have moments of selfishness or simple negativity. It may seem callous but if you want a fantastic life, you can not associate with people who are consistently negative.

1) - They see problems in every opportunity for themselves and in your life.

They think, say, & do negative things. They complain that the sun is too hot. The rain is too miserable, the wind is too intense, they're too tired or they have nothing to wear. They find the reason to not participate or have a day outdoors.

They think that everyone is against them and that everyone has or will screw them over. They see the problems and never the solutions. Every little bit of difficulty is exaggerated to the point of tragedy. They become discouraged easily instead of learning from their mistakes and they rarely move forward in life because they're too afraid to come out of their comfort zones.

2) - They Jump Before They Look

They move based on impulse alone. If they see something they like, they buy it at once without any second thought to whether or not they need it. Then they see something better and will regret not taking advantage of the bargain. Additionally, Jumpers will potentially buy the better item supplying an imaginary reason for the purchase of a duplicate item.

Whether it's financially or emotionally, they spend & spend again until nothing's left and rarely consider the immediate or distance future. They seek the pleasure they experience in "the now". Jumpers don't think about the consequences of they're spending and often hurt the people around them.

3) - They Always Have Something To Talk About But Not Much Time To Listen.

They always have a gripe, a complaint or a rant about something or someone. They always involve you in a discussion that either makes them the hero or the victim of the discussion. Too often, they are not aware that what they're saying is not sensible. Other times, when someone offers a helpful suggestion, they will change a bit of the story so that the suggestion can not work. Than again, they may end up simply closing their ears because they're too proud to admit their mistake.

In their mind they're always correct, the victim or no one understands them. They reject suggestions because that will make them feel inferior.

4) - Waiting For the One Great and Powerful Success

Successful people treat failures as stepping stones to success. Negative people are waiting for the one chance that always seems to just slip past them. Much too often, negative people call it quits upon recognizing the first signs of failure.

At the beginning, they'll be highly motivated and energized to start a new project or venture. But then the glamour of idea wears off and they lose interest when they encounter errors or difficulty. The circle ends with excuses on why they can not follow through to completion. Too difficult, not enough money, not enough time or no one would help me. Then they go and search for a new one and repeat the circle with the same excitement of finding a new project or ventures and producing the same end results.

5) - Misery Loves Company

Negative people envy successful and positive people. It doesn't matter if the successful individual is a success in they're career or they're personal life. Any ownership of success makes a negative person envious.

Instead of working hard to create they're own success, negative people will say and or do things to successful people that will create negativity in they're lives; potentially damaging that person's success.

I've learned from my own personal experience that negative people do not want helpful suggestions or advice. They are negativity clouds they're cloud of negative prevents them from accomplishing anything.

6) - Time Wasters

They procrastinate, reschedule or just cancel. They don't know what to do next and often say they don't know how to do something as an excuse in not doing "it". They're often content on eating, drinking, watching TV, sleeping, shopping or playing video games instead of taking action towards they're once enthusiastic goal towards success.

There's nothing wrong with having a 'zone out' time or being content with "nothing to do" once in a while. But life should be sculptured in your own image of success. Great works of art are never half completed and displayed as a success. There should be a proper balance between work & pleasure.

7) - The Tourist Sidewalk & The Offbeat Trail

There are two roads to choose from in life

The offbeat trail is much bumpier and you never know what might be around the curve of the trail. But if your prepared, each curve becomes easier and the adventure of getting to the pretty lights is much more rewarding --the stories are more entertaining. Successful people make it through the trials & error, they don't give up. They are willing to sacrifice, learn and try. They achieve what they aspire for in life. They recognize they're mistakes, they ask for help and they never give up.

Than there is the easy road...

The smooth wide plenty of room sidewalk where people can easily see all of life's attractions at a safe distance. It doesn't offer too many rewards, but it's safe. They don't want any suffering or hardship, they want to see all the glitter and lights and have the good life without actually putting in the effort of getting there.
