
Arizona School of Massage Therapy is a career training college that focuses on massage therapy, including the art and science aspects of the trade, as well as business practices.
ASMT is part of the family of colleges known as Utah College of Massage Therapy, which is owned by the Steiner Education Group, a system of natural health care schools operating 14 campuses in eight states. Steiner Education Group is a subsidiary of Steiner Leisure Limited, an international spa service provider that operates salons in resort and day spas, as well as on cruise ships.
Arizona School of Massage Therapy programs
ASMT's massage programs focus on both Eastern and Western techniques, covering massage practices as well as CPR and first aid, anatomy, physiology and pathology. Its programs include:
Professional Massage Therapy -- 51 credits, 7 months
Covers:
- Anatomy/Physiology I, II & III
- Cranial Sacral Therapy
- Professional Development I, II, III, IV
- Russian Sports Massage
- Trigger Point Therapy
Master Bodyworker -- 66.5 credits, 9.5 months
Covers:
- The Professional Massage Therapy Program
- Advanced Eastern Paradigm
- Kinesiology
- Myokinetic Techniques
Students are required to complete the Professional Massage Therapy program in order to start the Master Bodyworker program.

ASMT accreditation
Arizona School of Massage Therapy is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET), an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
